Rolling Hills Oilseed Rape Straw Bedding

1. Unlike straw, Oilseed Rape Straw is not a highly digestible product so horses are less likely to eat it due to its natural bitter taste.
2. product can be mixed with shavings or used as a top up if your customer already uses shavings, its personal preference. 

We do recommend using it on its own for the best low dust bedding experience for your horse!

Chopped Oilseed Rape Straw is:

• Processed and de-dusted rigorously resulting in a soft, highly absorbent straw due to its cell like qualities – you’ll see spongy centre on the product.
• Grown locally on our farm and in fields close to yourselves!
• Our process chops the OSR straw into short stalks for urine to sit instead of dispersing across the entire bed.
• We process the big bales and bag the product here on site in Grangegeeth – Sown and Grown in Leinster!

Usage recommendations:

• Spread the bedding evenly over the box floor.
• Scoop out any wet bedding patches and remove droppings regularly.

Standard Items: 

Will be shipped with DPD and be delivered to you door in 1-2 working days on average. On occasion this may be extended during busy periods however it is usually a rare occurrence.

Weighted/Bulky Items:

Will be shipped with Fastway and usually will be delivered to your door in 2-5 working days. If you are under time constraints with your delivery please phone the store on 09064 30244 and we can assist you with offering you a more prompt service if possible. These items include but are not limited to: feed; haylage; shavings; licks and some stable/yard items
